FAQ

How sandbox testing works on R-Pay.
Does sandbox move real money?

No. Sandbox payments, collections, and terminals are for testing only. They do not charge customers or settle to a bank account.

How is sandbox different from the live merchant dashboard?

The live dashboard at Go to live account uses your authenticated merchant workspace, credentials, and real rails. Sandbox is a public testing shell with the same page names and no live data.

What payment methods can I test?

R-Pay merchants can enable DuitNow OBW (BIMB, AmBank), DuitNow QR (BIMB, AmBank, Maybank), MPGS BIMB cards, E-Wallet FIUU, and Auto Debit BIMB. In sandbox those rails show as not configured until you connect them in a live workspace.

What is the difference between a collection and a terminal?

A collection is a shareable payment request or billing link. A terminal is a QR point of sale for in-person payments. Both appear under Money movement.

Where do I find API keys and webhooks?

Open Developers. API keys, webhook endpoints, and the event log are in that workspace. Sandbox keys are not generated until you create them in a live integration.

Where are response codes documented?

See Response codes in Support. Those values match R-Pay inquiry handling for FIUU, MPGS, and billing status.
